General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These general terms and conditions govern the sale of products and services offered by Saniio, including :

  • Maintenance of septic tanks with prefilters
  • Sale and installation of prefilters, covers, charcoal filters, passive ventilators, and alarm systems
  • Related inspection and safety services
  • Transmission of a condition report for your septic system (before and after service)  
  • Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the client.

2. Service Area

  • Our services are currently available in the following regions: Laurentides, Lanaudière, Outaouais, Estrie, Mauricie, and Capitale-Nationale.

3. Orders and Quotes

  • All service requests will result in a detailed quote (electronic or paper), valid for 30 days. 
  • An order is considered confirmed upon client approval of the quote (signature or electronic acceptance). Approval of any additional necessary work—whether offered or requested—must be provided in writing prior to execution. These services will be invoiced once completed. 
  • If a second visit is required to complete or finalize the work, a travel fee of $75 will be charged (within a 50 km radius), plus $1.50/km for additional distance.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD), taxes excluded. 
  • • A deposit may be requested for any installation or equipment purchase. 
  • • The remaining balance is due at the end of service via card, transfer, or other methods accepted by Saniio. 
  • • In case of non-payment, interest of 2% per month (24% annually) will be applied after 30 days.

5. Access and Service Conditions

  • The client must clear the septic tank covers and ensure site access. 
  • If the covers are not accessible as expected, service will be postponed and a travel fee of $75 will apply. 
  • Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in a fixed travel fee. 
  • Saniio commits to performing a 10-point visual inspection once per year, included with your cleaning report.

6. Warranties and Limitations

Installed parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Saniio guarantees professional service but cannot be held liable for:

  • Potential damage on-site during maintenance or installation
  • Improper use or lack of maintenance
  • Old or non-compliant installations
  • The full ventilation circuit of the septic system (only the effluent filter is cleaned)
  • Factors beyond our control (e.g., flooding, ground settling, freezing, etc.)

7. Liability

  • In the event of proven damage caused by our team, Saniio’s liability is limited to the amount of the related invoice. 
  • Saniio shall not be held liable for indirect damage or business losses.

8. Data Protection

  • Collected information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 
  • Clients may request access to, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.

9. Applicable Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in the province of Québec (Canada). 
  • Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the client’s district or that of Saniio, as applicable.
